Charlie left us just recently on October 3rd 2011, he was 14 years old.

He was such a character with a distinctive 'meow' which we loved to hear.
He was very popular with so many people.

Charlie became a regular visitor at the local nursing home nearby, he became a loyal friend to the staff and residents and had his own chair and feeding bowls there. If Charlie wasn't at home we always knew where to find him.

Sadly just three weeks before he died he was diagnosed with heart failure, although he was put on medication immediately nothing helped him ... the vet said his heart was struggling and that it was in a bad way.

Charlie went downhill rapidly and sadly we had to help him on his way ... he would have suffered badly if we'd have left him as he was, we couldn't let that happen to our sweet boy, but it was such a hard decision to make.

We buried Charlie in our garden alongside three other cats we have lost, we'll never ever forget him.
He was just like a bright ray of sunshine with his beautiful colourful coat, a true character and friend.
